How are we different? How does ResumeAgencies work? Why use Our Service?

We are very different from other services on the Internet. Most of the services others put your resume in a job bank. First, the recruiters have to search the job bank for key words and then hopefully your resume will be pulled up. Then they have to read your resume, together with all the other resumes that matched the criteria. This is a reactive way of getting to recruiters. The recruiters have to do all the work. We are a resume distribution service. Recruiters register with us to receive our resumes via email, and they will keep it in their 'available' file. They do not have to search for you, since you are there in the database already. recruiters always search their resumes in their internal database. This is much more proactive approach. We do all the work to get your resume in front of recruiters. While we don't guarantee that anyone will get a job, we do guarantee that we can get your resume in front of thousands of recruiters (Currently 3453 recruiters). You have to consider this as an investment, and as with any investment, there is some risk associated with it. However, this is a calculated risk, After all, as you know, it only takes one recruiter to actually find you a job!!

How does ResumeAgencies work? Why use Our Service?

Once you have posted all your information and resume into our database, you will receive confirmation email messages directly from many of the recruiters. These responses will begin immediately, and will continue for weeks and months thereafter. What also happens is that once a Recruiter receives your resume, your resume and information is then available to him/her as long as the Recruiter chooses to retain your resume in their database. For each of the thousands of Recruiters who now have access to your profile, you are available for presenting to their prospective clients at a very short notice.

Who should use ResumeAgencies?

Anyone who wants to be proactive in their job search, and who wants to network with a large number of recruiters and use them in leveraging in getting a job should use our service.

Whom do you send the resumes to?

All are IT recruiting agencies, contingency and retained search firms who have subscribed to our request to receive resumes from us. Currently we have over 3453 such firms as our members, and growing daily. Almost 95% of the recruiting agencies are USA based, and are located throughout the USA. Some are based overseas, but they have subscribed since they have ties back to companies in USA.

Will each recruiter look at each resume? Can you guarantee this?

We cannot guarantee that they will look at every resume they receive from us, but remember each recruiter subscribed to our list, by choice, so they an have interest in receiving and reviewing such resumes. Most recruiters keep all the recently received resumes in an "Active" folder where they will search for matching resumes once they have a job opening from their client.

Can you guarantee me a job?

While we don't guarantee that anyone will get a job, we do guarantee that we can get your resume in front of thousands of recruiters (Currently 3453 recruiters). How do you determine which recruiters to send the resumes to?

We had contacted each recruiter and asked only those who specialize in the IT field, to join our list. By doing this, our list is a "subscribed-only-list", as opposed to a list where recruiters get spammed by unwanted resumes. Additionally, any recruiters who do not want to receive our resumes are removed by us immediately, keeping our list current and up-to-date. Note, we specialize in the IT industry only. We are The Only Service that specializes in offering such a service, solely focusing in the IT industry.

I'm a Fresh Grad or a New MBA do you have recruiters who work with people like me?

Yes, many of the recruiters will work with new grads, especially fresh MBA's. However your results will not be as strong as someone with 3 years work experience. But, if your new degree is technology related where the shortage of people is so intense that many recruiters/employers will exchange your lack of actual work experience for your degree.

You will receive 3 email receipts. The first one, from Paypal, informing you that your credit card has been credited. The second one, from us, informing you that we have received your resume. Once you receive this second email from us, you can be assured that we will distribute your resume to all the recruiters, within 24 - 48 hours, on any business day (our goal is 4 hours). Once we have distributed your resume, You will receive the third and final email, confirming we have completed the distribution.

What types of results can I expect?

Your results will depend mostly on your qualifications, salary, and location requirements, for the positions that the recruiters are currently working on. Recruiters will typically respond right away to the candidates that fit one of their current search assignments, and will add to their database all the other candidates for later search assignments.

Will I benefit by using your service, if my skills are outside the IT industry?

When we contacted the recruiters to start our list, we asked if they worked in the IT industry and if so, they joined our list. Please remember, most recruiters, in general, have a focus in multiple industries. So the more exposure you have for your resume, the more chances you have in getting the next job, specially in this slow economic market-place! This is going to be your final call since we do not know their other industry focus's.

Why do you send resumes out in plain text?

We send Resumes in plain text because some email programs cannot handle other types of e-mail. In an effort to allow maximum exposure of your resume, we have had to restrict the formats to those that can be received by everyone.

How can I send a cover letter?

Please include the cover letter as the first page of your resume. Send this combined file as an attachment and also use it for your copy/paste.

How do I get in contact with the recruiters?

Every recruiter that receives your resume, and if interested in communicating with you, they will contact you directly.

Who will see my resume?

Your resume will be sent to every recruiter that has requested to receive resumes from us.

What are my payment options?

ResumeAgencies uses Paypal as the SECURE SERVER to collect your information for your personal safety. Paypal currently accepts several major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express cards for payment purposes. Please visit their website at www.paypal.com for further details.

How will I know if my payment has been approved?

After we have approved the distribution of your resume we will send you confirmation e-mail. We distribute each resume within 24 - 48 hrs (Our goal is within 4 hrs of business day).

I want to use your service, but only for recruiters within a single state. Can you help?

Yes, we can! Currently our web site is not set up for this option, and you have to make a special request to us by sending us an email to: info@resumeagencies.com We will advise you accordingly.

Do you have a refund policy?

Sorry, but once you have used our services, we cannot offer any refunds.
